"I Believe To My Soul"

Inspired by his experience producing the legendary Solomon Burke's Grammy-winning 2002 album Don't Give Up On Me, producer/singer/songwriter Joe Henry became passionate about recording more new music with other surviving soul music icons. In June 2005 Henry's vision was realized when some of his favorite living artists—Ann Peebles, Billy Preston, Mavis Staples, Irma Thomas, and Allen Toussaint—recorded a mix of classic and original songs at Hollywood's famed Capitol Studios.
