Luniz No Pressure

"No Pressure"

Multi-platinum hip hop duo Luniz, comprised of founding members Yukmouth and Numskull, initially hit pay dirt thanks to their, still-to-this-day, popular weed anthem, “I Got 5 on It,” an interpolation of the Club Nouveau classic, “Why You Treat Me So Bad,” which appeared on their 1995 million-plus selling group debut, Operation Stackola [Noo Trybe/Virgin]. Nearly two and a half years later, the rap two-some returned with their gold certified sophomore set, Lunitik Muzik. Following their second release, Yuk inexplicably split from his, then, partner-in-rhyme, Numskull, and issued his first solo album, Thugged Out: The Albulation, , a ground-breaking double CD that moved well-over 500,000 units and garnered favorable reviews from fans and critics alike. Numskull has released 1 album to date outside of the Luniz, and a collaboration album with Clee of Digital Underground entitled Good Laaaawd That's a Lot of Drank released independently in 2000. He has also appeared at a few Digital Underground shows the past few years.

The two rappers reunited under the Luniz banner first in 2002 for Silver & Black and again in 2015 for High Timez. Now truly hitting their stride, they’ve returned again with the brand new No Pressure featuring guest appearances by Oakland hyphy superstar Mistah F.A.B. and Atlanta’s Hippy Creed.
