Capone-N-Noreaga
"T.O.N.Y. (Top Of New York)"
Kiam "Capone" Holley and Victor "Noreaga" Santiago first bonded over beats and their Queens neighborhoods while sharing K.P. duty at a city correctional facility. As a hardcore duo, they busted out of the borough with 1997's The War Report, an album whose massive street cred was boosted when Capone was incarcerated before it was finished. Drawing from their debut disc and 2000's scorching The Reunion, as well as solo projects from Noreaga released while Capone was in lockdown, making it the ultimate report from C-N-N.
